About the Performers:
Jeff Hinnendael hails from Green Bay. He has recorded and released two solo albums, “Cherry Street” and “Layla (The American Dream)” which are available on iTunes and have been played on Midwest radio stations. When he lived in Los Angeles, Jeff was the North American tour manager for the popular British band Graffiti6 and would fill in for members of the band. Jeff worked with one of the world’s top songwriters, Jamie Scott, who wrote hits for One Direction, Adele and Alicia Keys, to name a few. Jeff played for an audience of 10,000 + at Lambeau Field for the 2014 season opening and plays banjo in the Packer tailgate band (he has a soft spot for the Bears since his Mom is from Chicago!). He also played at the Lodge Kohler’s grand opening night, and with Daddy D Productions, gave the gala performance at the Ashwaubenon Performing Arts Center. Jeff and his bride, Maria, are “Indian Summer,” a folk-rock duo. He runs a recording studio and can be found on his self titled YouTube channel.
Maria Hinnendael (Sausen) is a 2018 graduate of St. Norbert College, where she excelled in her studies as a vocal performance major (soprano). Maria was an active member of the prestigious St. Norbert Abbey Singers and Chamber Singers. Of her three performances with SNC Opera Workshop, Maria especially enjoyed playing the lead role, Gretel, in Hansel and Gretel in collaboration with the Green Bay Civic Symphony at the Meyer Theater. Other opera scenes include Sister Genevieve (Sister Angelica), Linda (Linda di Chamounix), Alice Ford (Fallstaff) and Zerlina (Don Giovanni). Maria also has a love of music theater, and is thrilled to have played Ali (Mama Mia), Ophelia (A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum) and Fan (A Christmas Carol) with local Wisconsin troupes Birder Players and Daddy D Productions. Maria has performed in a multitude of variety shows from A Classic Christmas and Amazing Grace Gospel to A Night on Broadway and Stuck in the 60’s. Maria is also cofounder of The Princess Co., where she plays Ana (Frozen), Elsa (Frozen), Ariel (The Little Mermaid), and Cinderella (Rogers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella). There is a special place in her heart for contemporary music – she sings and plays melodica in the folk-indie band, Indian Summer, with her wonderful husband, Jeff.
